About this place
Weathering has left a column of rounded granite blocks resting one upon another on a hillside at Riyom, improbable enough that the formation has appeared on Nigerian currency and in countless photographs. The surrounding country of rock fields and terraced farmland is characteristic of the Plateau's high scenery, and the site is visible from the highway.
