About this place

Laid out on wooded slopes on the southern edge of Jos, the wildlife park has been a fixture of the city since the early 1970s. Enclosures hold lions, hyenas, baboons and other primates, antelope species and reptiles, while the surrounding woodland and rock outcrops draw birdlife of their own. Picnic lawns and walking paths make it the Plateau's most popular family outing.
