About this place
Assop Falls lies close to the Jos–Abuja road, where a stream cuts through granite and drops in a broad curtain into a shaded pool. The setting of rock, spray and surrounding bush has made it a long-standing stop for travellers and a location used in Nigerian film. Flow is strongest towards the end of the rainy season.
