About this place
Yankari covers about 2,244 square kilometres of savannah woodland in Alkaleri Local Government Area. It holds Nigeria's largest remaining elephant population and the Wikki Warm Springs, and is managed by the Bauchi State Government with the Wildlife Conservation Society.
