About this place
The Osun-Osogbo Sacred Grove is a dense forest along the Osun River outside Osogbo, holding shrines, sculptures and art works associated with the Yoruba goddess Osun. It was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2005 and hosts the annual Osun-Osogbo festival.
