About this place
Duasidan is a farming community in the Dormaa Central Municipality, about ten kilometres from Dormaa Ahenkro, whose sacred forest of some forty acres shelters Mona, Campbell's and spot-nosed monkeys. Local tradition forbids harming them, and the community maintains a burial ground for monkeys that die. District authorities have committed to improving visitor facilities at the site.
